So six months ago I got really excited because they were turning Beastly by Alex Flinn into a movie. I knew the book was based on the tale of Beauty and the Beast, set in modern day New York City. I immediately grabbed the book, and although it wasn't all that great, I enjoyed it for what it was. Then they delayed the movie, then they delayed it again.

Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King is a 2011 Printz Honor Book.  The book begins with high school senior, Vera Dietz, attending the funeral of her best friend Charlie Kahn.  At least Charlie had been her best friend until about five months ago when things started to go horribly wrong and he ditched Vera to hang with the "Dentionheads".

Naruto is a long-running series with all the power of hype that that entails.  It begins as the story of a clumsy, none-too-bright boy who wants to become the greatest ninja ever.  This is, as one might expect, not terribly easy.

Before I Fall could be titled "A day in the life of Sam". Sam (Samantha) Kingston is just your ordinary popular, somewhat mean and snobbish high school senior. She has three best friends and a boyfriend who is also popular (and who Sam has had a crush on for years).
