Claire and Chris Canton are living the quintessential suburban life in Johnson County Kansas when the recession hits and Chris gets laid off from his job. Don’t be scared when I tell you I am a huge fan of Dave Ramsey. Really, you don’t have to be scared because this book review is only about a book he consistently recommends to callers on his radio show. Now, I’m not looking for a job as I am quite happy with the one I have, but I am intrigued by Ramsey’s consistently suggesting books to his callers and he pretty much always has a specific title matching each caller’s particular challenge. I wanted to check the quality and caliber of his suggestions and picked 48 Days simply because the book and CD were both available simultaneously.
