Worth Dying For - Lee Child

Feb 3, 2011

The latest Jack Reacher Novel is much like the others. Jack Reacher, a sort-of modern day Robin Hood, wanders the country, helping people he meets along the way. The explosive events in Worth Dying For starts out innocently enough as Reacher tries convinces a reluctant doctor help a woman with a nosebleed. As always, events tend to develop and then spiral out of control rather quickly and as always, Reacher's brand of justice leaves more than a few dead. In this case, the crime being committed is rather heinous, so I didn't really mind the total destruction rained down on the guilty. While the plot isn't really groundbreakingly new, as always, I could hardly put the book down, waiting to see how Reacher would handle each situation and resolve events. Carrying a tiny thread from the previous book, I'm really waiting for him to get to Virgina and meet a certain someone. But, I guess I will have to wait through another book for that.
