Curiosity didn't kill the cat, but it did drive Caroline Paul more than a little bonkers. Animal lovers, especially those devoted to their kitties, will blaze through Lost Cat with lots of laughs and perhaps a tear or two. (Warning: A dear pet dies, but not the title feline. That chapter is touching but emotional.)

When Tibby returns home after a 5-week leave of absence, Caroline and her partner Wendy use all manner of detective methods to ascertain where and why he might have gone. A combination of illustrations and GPS maps really add to the already humorous writing. I thought the beginning was a bit stronger than the finish, but overall I enjoyed the book immensely. I had a great time sharing bits with anyone nearby willing to listen!
