After reading this autobiography by former KU basketball coach, Roy Williams, I am very sorry I was so angry at him for leaving Kansas for North Carolina in 2003. It is evident that Coach Williams is a man who loves the young men he coaches and the influence he has on their lives weighs heavily on his mind. Coach shares how the poverty and hard-luck childhood he experienced shaped him into a determined, competitive man willing to work uber long work weeks to succeed as a coach. Good easy read that teaches you a lot about college basketball and the unbelievable work ethic required to be an elite college coach. This is a must read for any fan of KU basketball.
