It all starts when long time resident of Avalon, Julia meets two new residents of Avalon; Madeline and Hannah. All three women, at different stages in their lives and at a crossroads become unlikely friends and confidants. As they become closer and begin to deal with the issues before them they bring together the town with the beginning of the Amish Friendship Bread Club. All three women must confront their individual issues and do so with the support of each other and the town.
