The Forgotten GardenSpanning four generations and two continents, this is a captivating, atmospheric and very readable story that includes a foundling, an old book of dark fairy tales, a secret garden, a maze, an aristocratic family, a love denied and a mystery. Cassandra is 38 years old. She’s just lost her grandmother and because of an unexpected bequest learns of a family mystery that she feels compelled to solve, in part to honor her grandmother, but also because she seeks healing of a 10-year-old hurt that still haunts her life. Listening to this book adds the dimension of British and Australian accents, adding even more personality to already fascinating characters.
