Brava Valentine by Adriana Trigiani
I enjoyed this second installment in Trigiani’s latest trilogy even more than the first. Set primarily in New York City, Valentine also ventures to Tuscany and Buenos Aires for some excitement. This is a smart “romance” for the readers who enjoy a good, non-formulaic story packed with interesting characters, relationships and a little pizzazz. Valentine unearths a long held family secret that will alter her personal and business life forever. As always, her very “Italian” family continues its stormy journey through life with Valentine caught in the vortex.
