The precursor to a film of the same name, The Princess Bride is a story

about a story - a fairy tale told to a young boy by his father. Of course,

not without lots of editing to ensure that only the good parts are left

in. The reader is left with a tale of swordplay, true love, evil men,

escape from death, and plenty of humor. The story starts with a young

bride whisked away by assassins that plan to kill her and pin her death on

Rowan and Neil have always been pitted against each other, locked in a fierce battle for

the ultimate honor: valedictorian. As their high school reaches its culmination and a

long-awaited game of Howl begins, they find themselves in the strange position to overcome

their hate for each other. Newly allies in this traditional seniors-only Seattle-based scavenger

hunt/manhunt, they begin to discover they have more in common than they thought. Though

We often have heard or seen war through a different lens, and most of us haven’t ever actually

been in one. However, soldiers are the ones who, by default, experience war firsthand. Every war

noted in history is concerned about the outcomes, what major authority figures think, or the

events throughout the war; however, the individuality, emotions, and existence of soldiers

themselves are often looked upon. Ironically, they are the ones who go through the most trauma,

A new beginning for Lily but an abusive past life that is still unforgettable is an accurate

representation of this book. I highly recommend reading It Ends with Us before starting the sequel,

A.K.A. this book. To summarize briefly, Lily, now a single mom, struggles to balance her new life

with the one she had with Ryle. However, her childhood lover, Atlas, reappears in her life and pays

back the indebted love that Lily once showed him. Through a series of events that Lily navigates

Delirium by Lauren Oliver follows Lena, a soon to be eighteen year old teenage girl. In Lena’s

world love is seen as dangerous and unpredictable, it causes havoc and apparently eventually

ends in death. Love is seen as a disease. To prevent people from catching this disease

everyone must have a surgery that cures them from it when they turn eighteen. In Lena's case

she believes that love is dangerous and can't wait for her surgery so she can finally be cured

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas is the second book in the Throne of Glass series. Celaena

has won the deadly competition and is now the king’s champion. She knows that the king is

bent on evil and would do anything to destroy the world. Anything but loyal to the crown,

Celaena tries untangling hidden mysteries in the glass castle. The more she uncovers the truth,

the more dangers she faces.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas is the first book in the Throne of Glass series. In a land
