The Near Witch follows the main character, Lexi, in her search for the town’s missing children, attempts to learn more about an unnamed stranger, and questions about whether childhood stories are more than scary tales after all.

Elisabeth is an apprentice librarian in a library full of grimoires, which talk and can be used by sorcerers to perform magic. When a grimoire is damaged, they come to life as ink monsters which wardens protect the world from. Elisabeth hopes to become a warden one day, but when Elisabeth is accused of sabotage to her library, she is taken to the capital by sorcerer Nathaniel Thorn and his demon Silas.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the second book in the Harry Potter series. It follows 12-year-old Harry Potter through his second year at Hogwarts. It’s turning out to be a great year until the attacks start. Will Harry find out who’s behind the attacks before it’s too late? 

New Moon is a supernatural novel about Bella Swan and her extremely scary love life. After Edward leaves her, Bella suffers many months of depression, and the only bright spot was her relationship with Jacob. But, trouble seems to follow Bella everywhere. As it turns out, Jacob is a werewolf with sworn enemies against Edward and his family. When Edward finds himself near death, Bella must choose a side of this war that seems fit in a Halloween movie. I highly recommend this book to people who are up for a good scare.

The missing plane that vanished in the end of Season 2 emerges from a volcanic fissure, seemingly to lead to their ultimate fate. However, their hopes are disrupted by Angelina, who believes she is an archangel sent by God to save only a select few. They are held captive as threats and need to find a way to save themselves and the world, will they be able to reboard and pass their final judgment? What will their life be after this? The answers unfold, and set everything right. This entire series and especially the last season was a twist of stories, relations, and motivation.

After the unusual flight, the passengers of Flight 828 realize the world has aged five years and they try to adapt to it, some figuring out diseases, relationships, their love life, adjusting to callings, etc. After mourning their losses, their friends and families had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they're all given a second chance and have to prove their belonging to save themselves and the rest of the world. It was suspenseful and thrilling but was a little scary and unpredictable for it to be considered a family show, with certain scenes.

Manifest is a supernatural drama television series. It shows the life of the passengers and crew of a commercial flight 828 who suddenly reappears after being presumed dead for five and a half years. This flight was a flight offered as the first flight filled up. This caused some health benefits for the advancement of solutions (such as for Cal). However, passengers experienced odd “callings” telling them what to do, coming with rewards and consequences.

You’ve Reached Sam by Dustin Thao is a realistic fiction with a bittersweet story. The story starts with 17-year-old Julie Clarke who’s recently been through a tragedy, her boyfriend Sam died in an accident. All she wants is to go back in time so that everything will be okay again. She decides that to move on she needs to forget him entirely and that’s the only way she can be okay. One day, when she’s at her lowest she calls his phone not expecting him to pick up, but he does.

Summary: Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins is a young adult fantasy novel that follows the story of Sophie Mercer, a teenage witch who, after a prom night spell gone wrong, is sent to Hecate Hall, a reform school for wayward Prodigium (supernatural beings). At Hex Hall, Sophie navigates a world filled with vampires, witches, and shapeshifters, while trying to uncover the mystery of her family's dark past.

Bella isn’t like other girls; she just wants to live with her mom, but understands that she has to move to Forks to live with her dad. So, for her mom, Bella makes the decision to move to Forks and start her junior year there. The rainy temperate environment isn’t anything like what she is used to, but neither is the strange boy next to her in biology, Edward. Bella and Edward can’t keep away from each other despite Edward trying to establish distance. Bella knows Edward isn’t normal but she’s not sure what exactly he is.
