What about Will by Ellen Hopkins is a book about two boys, Trace and Will who are brothers and best friends. Will’s mom hated football because she thought it was a dangerous sport, but Will's dad thought that it was good to have kids playing sports. Finally, Will's mom gave in and let Will play. All was going well, everybody loved Will and he loved playing.  One day Will had a football game and everything was going great, until it wasn’t.

Rating: 2.5

My rating for this book is a 2.5 because the book is bland in my opinion and does not have intensive detail. This book failed to get my interest and I believe the main reason  was not enough detail.

Rating: 3

My rating for this book is a 3 because the book felt not put together and just not right. The genre seems a bit off and mixes horror and fantasy. In my opinion, this is not a very good combination.

Summary:

This is about two boys who grow up together like brothers. The story talks about how the gods of the myriads caused a lot of damage to human society and killed thousands. These two boys then have to go through many challenges throughout the book.

Khaled Hosseini's, The Kite Runner, is a historical fiction novel set between the 1960s and early 2000s in Afghanistan. Amir is wealthy and virtually untouchable in society, but the person closest to him, Hassan, is his servant's son. The two boys maintain a relationship resembling brotherhood, but they are divided by race, religion, social class, and courage. Hassan would do anything for Amir, but when Amir is given a choice to save Hassan, he runs.
