Othello is a Shakespearean play that is set in Cyprus. The play is about a tragedy where Othello, the protagonist through manipulation by the story’s antagonist, Iago, kills his wife. For some context, Iago is Othello’s assistant and vows to seek revenge against Othello after being passed up for a promotion. Much Ado About Nothing is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare. It’s a story
about how love makes us do ridiculous things and this is a topic that Shakespeare revisits in his
later plays. Much Ado About Nothing is about how a young man from war falls in love with a
nobleman’s daughter, which is the complete opposite of his friend’s annoyance with the

However, a theme of continuation from the first play into the second play is that there is no
good or bad in the world, or rather, there is no certainly that good will always remain good. This

Julius Caesar is a tragedy by William Shakespeare and is personally one of my favorite
works from him. It’s about Roman general Julius Caesar, a very strong and brilliant, if not
arrogant, man who is ultimately assassinated by a couple Romans after they learn that he
would become the emperor of Rome. This launches Rome into an all-out Civil War. I love this
