This book does contain a couple mature scenes, so I would recommend it mainly for teens at least 16 or older or adults. She joins Basgiath War College where you either graduate or die a terrible death.

This causes her senses to overlap and gives her the ability to see colors when presented with emotions, information, and various other experiences. One day she receives a mysterious call from the hospital asking for her help to identify a young woman in critical condition and Nikki’s number is the only one listed in this Jane Doe’s phone.
What about Will by Ellen Hopkins is a book about two boys, Trace and Will who are brothers and best friends. Will’s mom hated football because she thought it was a dangerous sport, but Will's dad thought that it was good to have kids playing sports. Finally, Will's mom gave in and let Will play. All was going well, everybody loved Will and he loved playing. One day Will had a football game and everything was going great, until it wasn’t.
