The Flatshare is a often funny and always cute romance about broke and

fresh-out-of-a-breakup Tiffy and her new roommate, night-shift nurse and total sweetheart Leon.

They work out an arrangement that satisfies their budgeting needs as well as Leon’s jealous

girlfriend: Tiffy gets the room the nights and weekends, and Leon gets the day. And to ensure

that they never meet, Leon’s girlfriend forbids him from ever seeing Tiffy. But they have to

demonstrates a full cast of dynamic and relatable characters. As the mystery of Shara unfolds,

so does the mystery that surrounds many of the other characters. The cast goes through

important self discoveries that make them relatable and important to readers. It demonstrates

Andrew and Jamie are two boys that meet at the end of the world. A pathogen has

swept through the earth destroying everything the boys had ever loved. Family,

homes, and much more has been taken from them. But one day they meet after

Andrew comes stumbling into Jamie’s cabin, foot fresh snapped in a bear trap.

From then on, they go on a journey to escape, and to meet a relative of someone

who once helped them. But along the way things start to develop between the two.

Punk 57 is a teen romance novel. The book

takes us through the journey of two people

who were paired together in a pen pal project

in the 3rd grade and have been writing to

each other ever since then. What the catch?

They’ve never seen or met each other. One of

my favorite lines in the whole book is “we

were perfect together until we met,” I think

that this line is significant because it

symbolizes both Reyen and Mishas’ journey

throughout the book. The book is a wonderful

Piper Paisley harbors great disdain for Valentine’s Day. Does it matter that her birthday is also on

Valentine’s Day? No, she still hates it. When Piper’s two best friends contrive a plan to woo a

boy by Valentine’s Day via love potion infused chocolates, Piper is unsure. It’s not like Piper has

had the best track record in the love department. Soon, Piper finds herself spending time with the

most popular boy in school, and, maybe, falling a little bit for the boy next door. Who knows

what can happen when you sample magic.

Twilight is perhaps the quintessential YA romance novel, notorious for its movie

adaptation and public division over the love interests. Bella Swan has just left her big-city life in

Phoenix to join her father in the small forested town of Forks, Washington. Not even past the

first day of school, she begins to notice odd things - like the pale and beautiful but isolated

family that is the Cullens. Especially Edward Cullen - who seems completely infuriated and

Girls of Paper and Fire, by Natasha Ngan, is set in a world brimming with

demons, living alongside humans. As our story begins, Lei is taken from her home to

become one of the king’s concubines, a Paper Girl; girls from the lowest caste, fully

human. When Lei arrives at the palace, she discovers that she has no hope, not of

escaping, not of ever seeing her family again, and not of ever having a choice again.

Another year, another summer at Cousins beach. 15-year-old Belly returns back to the summer

house but with a shocking surprise that people notice her. She has grown up with Jeremiah and

Conrad Fisher but they’ve never seemed to notice her until she turned pretty. She goes

throughout the summer catching feelings for both brothers but who will she choose?

Lucy and Joshua are coworkers, both assistants to the two CEOs at a publishing

company. Though the word coworkers implies some cooperation and amiability, that’s nowhere

near the truth. Their mutual loathing, which began from the moment their two companies

merged into one, has been dubbed the Hating Game. It’s just another pretty normal workday for

Lucy (begins with staring hatefully at Joshua and ends the same way), when for some reason

he kisses her in the elevator. This, combined with a new promotion opportunity, an agreement

Belly has been dating Jeremiah, the brother of her first love Conrad, for a while now

and after she finds out some of his secrets she is ready to end this relationship. But

then, Jeremiah proposes to her. Belly is very surprised at this big step in their

relationship, especially because she just finished her freshman year of college and is

still 18. Belly’s mom doesn’t approve of her getting married so young and Conrad

might still have feelings for Belly. Belly wants to follow her heart, but where is her

heart leading her?
