Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K Rowling is an underrated masterpiece in my opinion. As for despite it being one of people’s least-liked books out of the series, I found it to be super entertaining. J.K Rowling’s use of mystery and suspense keeps readers interested and wanting to know more. That being said, I do think there were some unnecessary subjects covered throughout the book not worth mentioning.
Being the first book in the Harry Potter Franchise, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a fantastic start- giving readers a great understanding of the magical world before them. J.K Rowling’s introduction of characters and their personalities being fabulous all the more. I find this book very enjoyable to read as you learn so much about Harry and his friends throughout the book.

The two must work together to find out who killed Nels, and how it all relates to an ancient needle with the ability to mend and weave the world.
R.I.P Eliza Hart tells the story of Ellie Sokoloff, ex-best friend of Eliza Hart who both attend Ventana Ranch boarding school. Ellie now is a loner, while Eliza is the most popular girl at Ventana Ranch. That is, until she’s murdered. Now Ellie, who’s been bullied by Eliza since she arrived, is determined to solve her murder, despite the fact she now looks like the top suspect. With help from her roommate Sam, she has to find out what really happened, and clear her own name.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, by John Boyne, is a powerful story about the holocaust and its horrors-- perfectly encapsulating its troubles through a young boy named Bruno. Heartwrenching and gripping, Bruno takes readers through a friendship between a German and a Jew as a barbwire fence separates the two indefinitely. This book is excellent for people wanting to know more about what the holocaust was like and the devastation it caused.
Twisted Palace by Erin Watt is teen fiction and the third book in the series. Ella Harper is still fighting. Even after learning to be a Royal, the threat of her long lost father and Reed who’s life is on the line, this may be the fight that beats her. Reed Royal has never been one to back down from a fight, but the drama that stirs up in and out of the Royal mansion may be the one that knocks him down. With everything trying to keep them apart, can Ella and Reed survive in their world of wealth and lies?
Broken Prince by Erin Watt is teen fiction and the second book in the series. Reed Royal has everything one could ever want. But he never cared about anyone except for family until Ella Harper came crashing into his home. It started with hate and wanting her out but ended as the absolute opposite. Until a stupid mistake drove her out, for final. Now, he must do everything he can to get her back, and it’s not as easy as he thought.
