survive on their own. But the thing is some of them want to create an army

while the others just want to survive. This book is about the journey from

being stuck on an island to maybe leaving the island.

Title: Lord of the Flies

Author: William Golding

Genre: Allegorical Fiction

Everything, Everything is such an amazing book. There’s an amazing plot

twist at the end, which really adds to the whole story. There are moments

where you hold your breath, mentally yelling at the character through the

pages of the book. I love how the book is written, how there’s never a dull

moment in the story, how you never know what could happen next. It’s

just an amazingly written book.

Every Last Word is so touching. It really dives into mental health, and how

even when someone looks completely fine, they might actually be dealing

with something underneath that. Every Last Word shows how OCD can

affect a person’s life, in many ways.

Genre: Realistic Fiction

“Loving something was traumatizing… Everything precious was also vulnerable” (Choi 381).

I read 1984 for my English class and I have mixed feelings about Orwell's novel. On one

hand, I really appreciate his writing style and I believe the purpose behind the book is

important for everyone to hear. However, it was a very slow start and terribly boring during

part one. And the ending, don't even get me started. I was not happy that Winston finished

the book submitting to everything he had fought against for years. I couldn't make up my

means that she needs to go look for survivors. When she finds a couple of other survivors she

realizes this may be a bigger deal than she realizes.
