Daughter of the Siren Queen is the riveting second book in the Daughter of the Pirate King series by Tricia Levenseller. After Heroine Alosa discovers a secret that her father, the despot Pirate King, has withheld her entire life, everything changes. Assisted by love interest Riden and her predominantly female pirate crew, she embarks on a race against time and her father in a quest for the siren treasure and position of Pirate Queen. Their adventures include battles with sirens and pirates, with Alosa’s determination, cunning, wit, and courage once again allowing them to overcome all obstacles to success. The sea is again an important feature as the primary setting but also as part of Alosa’s character. I loved the action-packed fight scenes and plot twists, as well as the banter and chemistry between Alosa and Riden. In my opinion, this swashbuckler is a must-read for those fans of pirate fantasy adventures.
