Della and Suki’s mom had been sent to prison for blowing up a motel bathroom while cooking meth. Della and Suki go into foster care, where they meet Francine. Suki hurts herself, Della fights for what’s right, and both siblings decide to testify against their childhood abuser.

I love love love this book. Filled with adventure, fantasy, thrill, some romance and even a few creepy/intense moments. There was always something happening that made you want to keep reading and I personally couldn’t put it down. Both main characters, Kell and Deliah (Lila) Bard, were so loveable and I absolutely love them together and apart.
