The movie Dune is about a teenage boy named Paul Atreides, who is the heir to the Atreides house on their planet Arrakis. Paul and his family are struggling, as the “spice” that their family needs is no longer available. Paul tries to step up and help his family, but he does not know the amount of work that it takes to be king. Paul later realizes he is much different from most people on his planet, as he has magical powers just like his mother.

Frankenstein
By Mary Wollstonecraft ShelleyMary Shelley wrote Frankenstein in the early 19th century, a story about a scientist named Victor Frankenstein who achieves his goal of creating life from corpses as a scientific experiment. While Victor was solely focused on the process of creation, he unintentionally ends up creating a monster. Victor’s deep immersion in his scientific endeavors blinded him from considering the ethical implications of his actions, and he spends the rest of his few years alive trying to stop the Creature from creating havoc.

Star Splitter
By Matthew J. KirbyJessica was supposed to go to space with her parents. And, she did… but she wakes up to nd nobody in the ship but herself. We, herself and… a duplicate of herself. As the story goes on, find out what happened to get the two Jessicas in the situation they’re in, and what they’ do to get out of that situation. I liked Star Splitter a lot, but one thing I will mention is that it had a lot of foul language/swearing in it, so if you are uncomfortable with that sort of thing, I would not recommend it. But other than that, I thought the book was pretty good!

Echoes and Empires

Josslyn has to team up with Jericho Nox (the person who was trying to steal the magic) to get it out of her before it’s too late.
Little Women is a wonderful movie about the March sisters, Jo, Amy, Meg, and Beth. Each of these four sisters are completely different, and want different things. They were raised with their mother, who only wanted the best for them. Their mother helped them to be independent and smart. This movie is about their childhood, and later cuts to the present time. It shows how each of the girls had changed over time, and shares with us the things that shaped them to be how they are.
