Kung Fu Panda 4 is a decent installment to the Kung Fu Panda series. It carries over the older characters and introduces new characters to keep it interesting. The story starts off showing us that Po must get ready to become the next spiritual leader of the valley of peace and needs to pick a new dragon warrior to take his place. While on this journey to become the spiritual leader, Po faces a formidable foe. The set-up of the movie is good, but by the end the whole movie felt mediocre and there was not much tension.

Lord of The Flies is a very interesting and popular book depicting the concept of human nature, society, and morality. This book takes place during World War II when a group of British boys get stuck on an island from their plane. There were older boys on the island like Ralph, Piggy, Simon, Jack, and the choir boys who were about the ages of twelve to fourteen. The younger boys included Jonny, Henry, and Jack are about the age of six. The boys came together after Ralph blew the conch which Piggy gave him the idea to.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is one of the most powerful stories that I have read. Taking place during the Holocaust, this book’s depth is immediately apparent (as is any story in the face of such a great tragedy.) The story centers around a girl named Liesel, who loses her family at the novel’s opening, and thus finds herself in the care of the Huberman family. The Huberman family provides Liesel with a new warmth that had been lacking previously in her life–they represent, for her, a true family.
