Who Was Jacqueline Kennedy? tells the story of the First Lady of the United States and wife of President John F. Kennedy. It starts with her childhood, where she liked reading, writing, and riding horses. As she got older, Jackie worked as a writer and later married John F. Kennedy. When he became president, Jackie became known for her style, kindness, and work to bring art and history into the White House. The book also talks about the sad time when President Kennedy died and how Jackie stayed strong. After that, she worked as a book editor and took care of her children. Even though she didn’t like being in the spotlight, she still helped others and made a difference.

This is a great book for kids who want to learn about American history and strong women. It shows Jackie not just as a First Lady, but as a smart and kind person who stayed strong during hard times. It teaches readers about being a good leader, staying strong, and showing kindness to others. Three out of five stars.
