Midnight Sun is the first novel in the Twilight saga from Edward’s point of view. It is very interesting to see the story through Edward because he has so many conflicting thoughts about Bella and her well-being around him. I would suggest reading this book after you finish reading the entire Twilight saga because it will help patch up some holes left in the story after the last book. My favorite part of this story is Edward’s protectiveness towards Bella and she doesn’t even know it.

This heartbreaking true story explores a father’s perspective while his son battles addiction. He tries so hard to understand his son through research and talking to experts. He watches as their relationship changes, and he tries to love his son. This is one of my favorite books. It is heartbreaking and shows how addiction affects an entire family. It also shows how much-loved ones truly want to help you. The book is a slow read, so it forced me to think about the book and its effects.

The Land of Stories The Enchantress Returns is the second book in the Land of Stories series. It once again follows Alex and Conner Bailey as they try to stop the evil enchantress, the one who cursed Sleeping Beauty, before it’s too late. I like how this book brought back all the same characters from the first book. My favorite part is when Alex and Conner meet Mother Goose and my favorite characters are Mother Goose and Froggy. I really enjoyed the ending of this book.

“But… where are the children?”

After their mysterious appearance, the men in rat masks answer none of the questions given to them. No one seems to be keen to ask questions when they provide food and shelter though, in a secret city underground. But who can explain the masks everyone wears? Or the disappearance of everyone assigned maintenance duty? OR most importantly where have all the children gone?
