“Go wisely and slowly. Those who rush stumble and fall.”

By far the most famous of Shakespeare’s works, Romeo and Juliet, is the famous tragedy warning of the dangers that love can get you into. Following two feuding families, and their children. Young Romeo wants only the attention of his love, while Juliet is soon to be married to the pompous Paris. They marry in secret and begin a set of events that lead to their eventual deaths by their own hands.

27 Dresses is a Rom-Com staple that everyone should watch. It is a rom-com starring Katherine Heigl as Jane Nichols and James Marsden starring as Kevin Doyle. Jane is an assistant for a CEO but her side gig is being a Bridesmaid. Now all that Jane wants is for a wedding of her own and she wouldn’t mind if it was with her boss. But as they say, “always the Bridesmaid and never the bride”. Jane suffers from one thing and that thing is people pleasing and never seems to be able to advocate for herself.

Reminders of Him is definitely my favorite CoHo book! It usually takes me a long time to get into a book, but I was sucked in right away! It is a quick and great read. It follows the story of Kenna. She was involved in a traumatic event which caused her to lose custody of her daughter. This book follows her journey to get her daughter back. She encounters challenges and a possible lover, Ledger. This book is a double perspective with Ledger. With this, you are able to get drawn to all the characters emotionally.

The Selection is the perfect dystopian book if you love high society and competition. If you're looking for an easy read this is it. This book follows the main character American Singer and her journey competing for the crown. Although the names in this book might not be creative the plot pulls you in making you want to read more. By the end of the first book in this trilogy I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the second book.
