When the Builders created an underground living environment for the people, all seemed well. Until the storerooms started running out of food and corruption began to erupt. But when Lina and Doon found an ancient parchment, they wanted to find a way out of Ember. But will they be able to leave the city? I love this book because of its thrill. This book has a lot of twists and turns which make it really fun.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson has become one of my favorite books I’ve ever read; in fact, I would without hesitation put it on my “top 7” list. You may have heard of this novel from the TV show created recently. If you do plan to watch the show, I highly recommend you read this book first as the show tends to rush through some crucial parts of the entire plot. This murder mystery follows the life of a 17-year-old girl, Pip, who uncovers the mysterious past of her hometown.
