Summary: Nate has a problem, and his name is Breckenridge Puffington III. He’s a new kid at PS. 38, Nate’s school, and Principal Nichols is forcing Nate to be Breckenridge’s “buddy”. The only thing is, Breckenridge seems to be quite a nerd. He doesn’t like cartooning or sports like Nate, and instead enjoys FLOWERS. Yeah, you read that right. Flowers.

Let me just start off by saying that this book is one of my favorite books of the Big Nate series. This book has an amazing plot, interesting characters, and lots and lots of humor! Another reason why I love this book is because it incorporates little illustrations, and helps us visualize the book so well! I would definitely recommend this book to people who enjoy humorous and witty books! The story begins with Nate Wright, and how he created a cartooning club known as the doodlers. The school they go to (PS 38), has a major rivalry with their sister school: Jefferson Middle.
