4 teens, Liam, Jorja, Marcie, and Elayah, find a time capsule that was buried by their parents. They were expecting cool items from the 80’s, but instead they find a bloody knife and a confession to a murder. They are left to solve the murder on their own after no one believes them.
Although the plot of the book doesn’t seem bad, the author did not write out the story well enough to keep me reading it. The characters did not have enough depth in them nor were they interesting. The book was boring and there weren’t any thrilling scenes. I didn’t really like the pacing of the book and I didn’t like the ending either. I like the cover of the book but I think it doesn’t match the story of the book. I would rate this book a 2/5.
