The Final Gambit is the final book in the Inheritance Games trilogy and follows the life of a girl named Avery Kylie Grambs. Avery inherited a billion-dollar fortune from the deceased Tobias Hawthorn, but the inheritance came with a few rules. To get the full fortune Avery had to stay on the property of the Hawthorne house for a full year. During that year she stayed with the 4 grandsons of Tobias.

Due to the rebellion seen in the districts, the capitol announces the 75th annual Hunger Games to be a “Quarter Quell”, where tributes will be selected from previous victors

Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey is a thrilling and thought-provoking science fiction novel that takes place in a future where humanity has colonized much of the Solar System. The novel follows two main characters: Jim Holden, a former naval officer, and Miller, a detective on the asteroid belt. The novel revolves around a mysterious substance that could change the balance of power in the Solar System, the Protomolecle.

It follows unpopular high schooler Henry Denton struggling to cope after his boyfriend commits suicide. He has supposedly been abducted by aliens his whole life, and they give him an ultimatum: the world is going to end, and he can stop it if he presses a button. However, he can’t decide whether or not to.

Each twin was gifted with the mysterious cornicello, amulets of protection, and advised never to remove them. While Emilia prefers creating recipes for their family restaurant in Sicily, the more daring Vittoria disappears one evening only to be later discovered by her twin, gruesomely murdered.

At times, the addiction is not at the fault of the user and instead is the fault of the corporations that build addictive scenes and technology with the intent of addiction. Using human psychology, businesses have sorted out a way to keep users invested in social media, video games, and other mediums.

Ishmael Bea, as a young child, gets dragged into the war in Sierra Leone. He has nothing to do with it, and he wants nothing with it either. He attempts to escape the war and goes on a journey along the way. He shares his experience on the battlefield when he eventually becomes a child soldier.
