Shannon is “the group's” leader now. She had all the power she wanted when joining middle school. But now her problem has changed. Shannon is worried about what her friends think about her. Whether it is taking a joke too far or talking bad about friends, Shannon believes that she needs to be more careful about what she says to her group. Will she stay in her group? I love this book because of its ability to be so relatable. I love that this book is a series because we can see how Shannon grows as a character.
