The Wishing Spell is a book about twins that travel to an unexpected location, a fairytale world. They have fun at first meeting their childhood heroes, but soon they wanted to go home. To do this, they must adventure around this unfamiliar world to collect magical items. They run into friends, but they also run into some unpleasant people.
I liked how the author made the twins opposites, Alex loves reading while Conner prefers hanging out with his friends. Another thing I like is the crazy adventures they have, they kept me turning the pages well past lights out. I would recommend this book to anyone in middle school that loves fairytales and realistic fiction.
