Vicious by V.E. Schwab is a teen fiction novel. We follow Victor in the present and as information is needed we follow his past but primarily his time in college working on his senior thesis with the notorious Eli. Now Eli is only notorious in the present but as we follow Eli’s past and his thesis, studying EOs, we learn the origins of his notoriety. I really love the vibes/theme of this book in general; I immediately clicked with it. As the book goes on and we follow the progress of Eli’s thesis we learn more about the EOs and how they are created; and I appreciate the science of it and how the knowledge and power change our main cast of characters.
