Unravel Me is a beautifully written book. Although it’s not my favorite out
of the six books in the Shatter Me series, it is still very good. All of the
books in the series have left me speechless and shocked. Definitely my
favorite series of all time.

“Hope.
It's like a drop of honey, a field of tulips blooming in the springtime. It's
a fresh rain, a whispered promise, a cloudless sky, the perfect
punctuation mark at the end of a sentence. And it's the only thing in the
world keeping me afloat.”
- Tahereh Mafi, Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)

Unravel Me is the second book in the series, and takes place at Omega
Point. Juliette has lethal skin, skin that will kill anyone who tries to touch
her. And Juliette is struggling with the weight of her new secret: Warner
has the ability to touch her, just like Adam. This was found out at the end
of the first book, when Adam and Juliette are escaping.

They live in a horrible world, where The Reestablishment has taken over
everything, and no one has done anything to stop them. But at Omega
Point, a secret rebellion has been growing for a while over time. Juliette
and Adam struggle to find a home in the strange new base, and making
friends has never been easy for Juliette. They hope that Omega Point will
be everything they’ve ever wished for, only to find that maybe being with
each other won’t be as easy as they had thought.

“On the darkest days you have to search for a spot of brightness, on the
coldest days you have to seek out a spot of warmth; on the bleakest
days you have to keep your eyes onward and upward and on the
saddest days you have to leave them open to let them cry. To then let
them dry. To give them a chance to wash out the pain in order to see
fresh and clear once again.”
- Tahereh Mafi, Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)

Unravel Me is intense, well written, dramatic, romantic, a little bit crazy,
and absolutely breathtaking. If you liked the first book, you’ll love this one
and those after!
