Ugly Love follows Tate Collins, a registered nurse who moves to San Francisco to live with her
brother, Corbin to continue her studies as a nurse and also work in a hospital there. There she
meets Miles Archer, an airline pilot, and a close friend of Corbin. Tate is immediately attracted to
Miles but Miles makes it clear that he isn't looking for a serious relationship with Tate and Tate
agrees. After a while it becomes clear to Tate that she isn't able to handle the relationship she
has with Miles while he refuses all attraction to her due to his tragic past. This book had a lot of
spiciness which I'm not opposed to but the writing felt mediocre at best but I do think Colleen
handled Miles’s trauma very nicely. I would recommend this book to new readers who are
looking for a quick easy read.
