Trapped by Sigmund Brouwer is a gripping thriller that follows the story of Owen and his friends as they embark on a seemingly innocent adventure to explore an abandoned mine. However, their exploration takes a sinister turn when they become trapped underground, facing the harsh realities of darkness, fear, and dwindling supplies. As tensions rise and secrets are revealed, the group must confront their deepest fears and work together to find a way out before time runs out. With each passing moment, the claustrophobic setting intensifies the suspense. It is very intense and will keep you on the edge of your seat at all times.

The most compelling aspect of Trapped by Sigmund Brouwer was undoubtedly the intense atmosphere created throughout the story. Brouwer expertly captures the claustrophobic feeling of being trapped underground. It felt like I was in the darkness alongside the characters. The palpable sense of fear and tension keeps you hooked from beginning to end, making it hard to put the book down. There is one disappointment I had with this book. It was very predictable. You can easily tell what’s going to happen next based on other survival books which also have the same parts and plot. However it still can’t get rid of the intense fear and anxiety you have reading the book. I would highly recommend Trapped to anyone who enjoys fast-paced thrillers and suspenseful novels. It's perfect for people who love stories that keep them guessing, with a gripping premise and well-developed characters. If you're looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat and provide an suspenseful experience, Trapped is definitely worth picking up. I give this book a three out of five.
