I was one of those kids who grew up with Transformers so I must admit that there is a soft spot in my heart for any of the Tranformers movies. I was a little anxious to see the latest installment because I heard some pretty bad reviews from fans but I did go pay my $10 (dang movies are expensive) to check it out this weekend. And I am glad I didn't listen! I thought it was an awesome action movie and not too shabby of a plot! I am a big action freak so I love even the worst action flicks but this one just had so much more. The CGI was great (although there was a scene in the beginning of the movie that could have used a little more work) and as always the transformations were breathtaking. I must admit though, it is hard to judge the severity of the damage done in a machine v machine fight. They seem to pop right up from blows that would kill them if they were humans. I guess that is the beauty of being an alien machine. I really hope they make another eventually! Check out the trailer then go see the movie if you haven't already (or go see it again, I know I will)!
