Top Gun Maverick follows the aftermath of the original Top Gun and we see Maverick go back to Top Gun and train the new up and coming pilots in the academy. They are training for a top secret mission that is extremely hard and requires no mistakes or it is over. Maverick has a lot of things in the past trying to weigh him down and this almost stops him. There is a lot of pressure on Maverick and with the death of Iceman there is a lot at stake for him and his career. In the end Maverick and the crew succeed with a little hiccup at the end but they get the job done.
Opinion: I would give this movie a 3 out of 5 stars for a couple different reasons. To start I really like how they used real aircrafts in the movie and it made it way better than the original for me. I think it might have been a little too predictable towards the end and not sure how realistic it was but that is movie magic I guess. I think some conflicts could have been extended out for more impact on the story line. It was not the best movie I have ever seen but not the worst. This is why I give it a solid 3 out of 5. I would recommend this to people who like fighter jets and like action/adventure movies.
