Space Case is a mystery novel written by Stuart Gibbs. Dashiell Gibson is a lunarnaut that lives on Moon Base Alpha. He and his fellow crew are the first humans to live on the moon, and they are pretty famous. However, Dashiell cannot go onto the lunar surface, leaving him stuck in the base to do nothing. He has no interest in playing the virtual reality games that kids his age play either. Dashiell’s peaceful yet boring life ends abruptly when the top scientist, Dr. Holtz, is found dead. While everyone believes Dr. Holtz just didn’t put on his helmet correctly, Dashiell suspects something else, as why would Dr. Holtz be so reckless when he was just on the verge of an important discovery?
This book is definitely a good read and as someone who loves mysteries. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves reading mystery books, as I not only enjoyed the plot but the unique setting of the book.
