Shatter Me follows Juliette Ferrars, a 17-year-old girl with a fatal touch. She was locked up in an asylum for accidentally touching someone, leading to their death. The Reestablishment, the government in this dystopian world that locked Juliette up, decided that she could be used for something better, a weapon.
This book is amazing. Mafi’s writing style and the crossed-out text are genius. I think everyone should read this book just to experience the writing. The whole series has my entire heart, these characters' stories are so captivating and are so fleshed out. I love it when authors make their characters so realistic. I love that Booktok found this book and made its popularity resurface.
