Juliette, a girl with a lethal touch, was locked up in an asylum for 264 days. She wants human contact but her lethal touch holds her back. Suddenly she gets a cellmate, Adam. She helps him adapt to life there, only to find out he is a soldier working for The Reestablishment. He isn’t completely loyal to The Reestablishment and against all odds is somehow immune to Juliette’s touch. Warner, the Chief Commander and Regent of Sector 45, intends to use Juliette as a weapon for The Reestablishment. The world is destroyed and The Reestablishment intends to reset humanity by erasing the language, literature, art, and anything man-made. Can Juliette and Adam escape the clutches of The Reestablishment?

I think that this book is a thrilling novel for young adults. From the very first sentence I was hooked. I kept turning the pages and finding out new plot twists! I was completely shocked when I found out that Adam could touch Juliette and my mind was blown to find out Warner could also touch her. This novel never disappointed me. I recommend this book to anyone aged 14 and up, who loves futuristic books, and some love aspects. I love the cover! Throughout the series the colors get lighter and really show how the character’s mind develops. It was so creative to show the trees as eyelashes and the text at the top really shows the mood of the book. I love this book and recommend it to everyone!
