The Outsiders, by S.E. Hilton, is a Young Adult Fiction book.  Ponyboy Curtis, the narrator, recites his struggles in society, thinking that he is an outsider. In the book, there are two groups- the Socs and the Greasers. Ponyboy belongs to the Greasers. People view the Greasers as filthy and wrong, while they view the Socs as an asset to society. This book explains self-identity.

I somewhat liked reading The Outsiders. This book is good because it teaches us many valuable lessons, such as sticking together. Even through hard times, the Greasers stick together. They treat each other as family. Also, I like that many characters in the book change throughout the story, exemplifying as Dynamic Characters. That is why this book is good. The cover is decent. I don't really like the cover, but there is a man on the cover with hair grease.
