OK Computer is frequently hailed as Radiohead’s masterpiece, and for good reason. The album never misses, from the opening guitar riff of “Airbag” to the final lyrics of “The Tourist”. OK Computer manages to be both more revolutionary and more easily palatable than most of Radiohead’s other works. The result is a stunningly beautiful and reasonably accessible album. Throughout the album, influences can be detected from earlier bands such as Pink Floyd (Jonny Greenwood's guitar in “Lucky” screams mid-70s Floyd), and this makes for an extremely entertaining and perhaps more familiar soundscape. One standout track, even among all of the incredible songs, is “Paranoid Android”. A six-minute-plus rock epic, the song has several distinct sections which all contrast against each other and yet somehow flow perfectly. Whether you are already a fan of Radiohead or you are just now hearing about this album, it will not disappoint you.
