SUMMARY: Odysseus, stranded on an island, makes it out alive through the favoritism of the Greek gods, Zeus and Hermes. An adventurous, sorrowful and tragic twenty-one long year journey back to Ithaca he takes to see his beloved home as Poseidon chases after him, wanting him dead. Many lives are lost during the journey, only for him to find out that there are hordes of hubris men overstaying their visit.

REVIEW: At first, I personally did not enjoy The Odyssey since it was a very long story of stupendous actions made by a group of men, making me always question: “Why?” But over time, I learned to love it especially towards the end. For anyone who has a short attention span, the Odyssey has many twists and turns that keep you wanting to read. Because of all this, I rate it a 3 out of 5.
