Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid follows the 4 famous Riva family siblings. The story covers what happens in the 24 hours leading up to, during, and after the well-known Riva party as well as the history of their family. Throughout the party secrets will be exposed, punches will be thrown, and the place will go up in flames. Let’s just say the rager will be one to remember. This book was unlike any book I've read before and I absolutely loved it. Maybe it was the fact that all the characters were famous or the beautiful writing style that sold me on this book. But whatever it was, I am all for Malibu Rising and the Riva family. The only negative about this book is that there are a lot of characters so if you have a hard time following along with large amounts of characters be aware. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading books packed with drama or is looking for a great summer read!
