Legendary is the sequel to Caraval, and instead of the story following her sister, Scarlet, it follows Donatella. I enjoyed this read, almost as much as I enjoyed Caraval. The main difference was that this book contained more romance and a lot of backstory to fill in the gaps of the first book. I recommend this book to mystery and fantasy lovers who don’t mind a few sprinkles of romance and will definitely be looking forward to reading the last book in this trilogy: Finale.
