This non-fiction discusses the issues of technology addiction in the modern age. At times, the addiction is not at the fault of the user and instead is the fault of the corporations that build addictive scenes and technology with the intent of addiction. Using human psychology, businesses have sorted out a way to keep users invested in social media, video games, and other mediums.

The work certainly speaks the truth when considering the corporate aspect of digital technology, and how it has no other purpose than to generate revenue from a person. The book effectively communicates the consumers how such systems function and why it matters. This work is not one to enrage fear of technology in one’s life, it simply presents the known facts and what to do to prevent technology addiction and what to do if one is addicted. Recommended for teens, although the work may be a bit long to read with very minor verbal content. Five out of Five.
