If You Could See the Sun by Ann Liang follows the classic enemies to lovers plot but with a twist. When Chloe, an overachieving student, finds out that her parents can no longer afford to pay for her fancy private school on the same day she finds out she can turn invisible, she is devastated. But out of desperation she decides to take advantage of her mysterious power and strikes a deal with the schools most popular guy who is also her academic rival. We follow her story as she tries to keep her entire life together. I loved this book a lot because it was a very unique approach to a romance plot and I also feel like it kept me on my toes the entire time because I could not predict what would happen. I also love how the plot progressed through the story because it shows a lot of character development. I would definitely recommend this book to those that like romance books.
