The House of Hades is the best book in the series. I love the two storylines that take place in this book and the settings. Rick Riordan did a good job of illustrating the danger and the sense of helplessness felt by Percy and Annabeth. Tartarus was the main highlight of the book. We see dangerous locations, monsters and ancient beings that are older than the gods in the book, which again shows the scale of danger they are in. It is full of action and uses different point of views effectively, the story felt fresh throughout the whole book as it switched between the characters. I give this book a 5 out of 5 as it is a really good book with a strong story.
