Stanley, a 14 year old boy was wrongly accused and sent to Camp Green Lake. Camp was not how it was expected to be, Every day he had to do holes six feet deep and six feet wide for no reason. There, he becomes friends with Zero to break the 150 year old curse on his family.

I think Holes is a good book because of the plot twists and the mysteries, they keep you excited and wondering what will happen next. Throughout the book, Stanley changes physically and mentally. He becomes stronger and he becomes more confident. I would rate it nine and half out of ten. Holes is a good book to read again because every time you notice something new. I recommend this book for anybody but especially students. I would also recommend checking out the movie.
