In The Hawthorne Legacy, main character Avery Grambs continues to search for the answers within billionaire Tobias Hawthorne’s puzzles and mysteries embedded within the walls of the Hawthrone Estate. Her mother’s game of “secrets” continues to replay in her mind as she struggles to differentiate her manipulative illusions with reality, all while debating her love situation with the Hawthrone brothers.
A fun and action-packed sequel to The Inheritance Games, this story had much more plot and less story-building, with a focus on Avery’s relationship with her sister and the new characters introduced. This would be a great read to those who like books about solving puzzles with high stakes and some romance. I highly recommend this series and will be reading the next book in this series.
