Harry Potter thinks he is just a normal ten-year old boy living at his uncle and aunt’s house. Harry thinks that his life is terrible, but what he does not know is that his life is about to get a whole lot more interesting. Harry finds out he is a wizard! When he goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he becomes friends with Ron and Hermione. The Sorcerer’s Stone is moved, which gives the wizard immortality. The Dark Lord is trying to steal the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter is trying to protect it. Will Harry defeat Voldemort, and save the Wizarding World, or will he fail?  Read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone to find out.

I found that this book has a lot of interesting aspects to it. This book is full of emotion and is very adventurous. Once I read the first two chapters, I got interested and did not stop reading this book. I think that if you like adventure books, this is the right book for you. I also think this would be a good book for ages 10-13. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the first of the many awesome books in the Harry Potter series. The most compelling aspect of this book is the cliffhanger at the end. I really liked how it made me think about what will happen in the next book. This book has been produced into an amazing movie series, and it is also one of my favorite books.
