Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the second book in the Harry Potter series and is written by J.K. Rowling. In this sequel, Harry Potter is excited to go to Hogwarts (but still must deal with his miserable guardians) when a mysterious creature breaks into their house and sends a concerning message to Harry. Harry doesn’t take the message seriously has he reunites with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. However, the creature’s message starts to come true when mysterious and scary incidents happen at Hogwarts, and it’s up to Harry and his friends to find out the root cause. I’ve read this book many times, and the book remains as spellbinding as ever! Those who expect big adventures will be thrilled, for it’s one of the most chaotic books in the series. From flying cars to giant spiders that talk back, this book adds even more meticulous detail to the world of Harry Potter. Rarely have I seen a sequel that meets the quality of the original book, and this book is no exception. What is an exception is that this book manages to exceed the quality of the original book in colorful (and explosive) fashion. Expect this book to petrify you (see what I did there?) with thrill, suspense, and anticipation!
